Tips and tricks for Iris Folding
- Use curved small scissors for cutting out patterns, like nail scissors
- Buy wrapping paper at the dollar store and cut it into stripes
- Use fabric ribbon instead of paper - DO NOT FOLD IT
- Search the internet for "fabric wallpaper" sites and print to use for your folding
- Go to stores that sell wallpaper and ask for the old wallpaper books and use those to IF.
- Go to stores that sell paint and use the paint samples to IF.
- Invest in a heavy tape dispenser!
- Prepare a lot of small pieces of tape by sticking them on a glass, Cup, or bowl.
